The use of Information Technology (IT) by business firms has increased tremendously, so is case with insurance industry. In an IT based economy the need for E-Insurance has become imperative to meet the current challenges\r\nof the 21st century. The Insurance companies in the world are using IT to increase their productivity/income and customer base by using latest IT systems. The Pakistan�s insurance companies are not lacking behind and using latest IT systems for performance improvements. E-Insurance in Pakistan is growing rapidly. There are changes taking place in the IT landscape of Pakistan�s insurance industry. The purpose of this paper is to know about the IT usage in the insurance industry and where Pakistan stands in terms of IT adoption at its major institutes like the State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan. The results of this study showed that IT is being utilized aggressively in insurance sector. The State Life\r\nInsurance Corporation of Pakistan is also increasingly utilizing Information Technology (IT) since long but its efforts are not properly aligned with its current need and at par with the world. A major challenge facing schools who teach MBA programs is developing a degree of student satisfaction and commitment. While MBA education is different than undergraduate the predictors of student satisfaction are probably different as well. This study charts some predictors of student satisfaction with their programs using an unconventional measure: the job satisfaction index, and the organizational commitment questionnaire. This article considers an overview of brand (reputation) management in higher education, with a focus on South Africa. The literature paints a picture ecessitating a proactive stance on maximizing the appeal of the institutional brand so as to recruit desirable students and ensure that the institution�s strategic goals are achieved. Inherent in this approach is embracing the competitive challenge, affecting internal remedies and thereafter ensuring that all branding elements are cohesively aligned. Findings suggests that just like any other brand, an institutional brand has the effect of reducing perceived risk for consumers (the students) and allowing the institution a degree of stability in the market place. Relationships among different dimensions of patient satisfaction and selected demographic, clinical, and outcome variables were explored in a sample of severely ill people receiving inpatient psychiatric services. The sample consisted of 81 patients admitted to and discharged from an inpatient psychiatric unit at an International Institute of Behaviour Technology medical center, Coimbatore. Stepwise multiple regressions were used to examine the relationship between patient satisfaction and self-reported changes in quality of life, symptomatology, and level of functioning as measured by the Treatment Outcome Profile. Other variables such as diagnosis, length of stay, employment, living situation, and prior psychiatric and substance abuse treatment were also considered. A subsample of the most satisfied and dissatisfied patients was chosen to further explore variables contributing to satisfaction with services. Patient satisfaction was related to initial level of functioning, certain diagnoses, and treatment gains. Clinicians were highly accurate in identifying patients who were satisfied, based on blind chart reviews. This study underscores the significant relationships between patient satisfaction, psychiatric diagnosis, and other outcome measures, and argues for the validity and utility of patient satisfaction measures in assessing the efficacy of inpatient care....
